Andela has reported record annual revenue of $420 million, reflecting explosive global demand for African software developers, data scientists and product designers.
CEO Jeremy Johnson said Andela had placed over 15,000 African technologists with companies in 70 countries in the past year.
Average salaries for Andela-placed developers rose to $65,000 annually, generating significant foreign exchange inflows for Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda and Egypt.
The company announced plans to expand its talent development programmes into five new African countries including Senegal, Tanzania and Morocco.
